A Review on the Popularity of Google Video

There has been a rapid increase in online video sites in the past few years. Google Video is one such website that has made its impact on the internet world. Though there are very popular video websites such as YouTube, the unique features of Google Video makes those who are new to the internet as well as those who are old, come back for more.

The greatest reason why Google Video has become so popular is due to the fact More

5min Video Life Videopedia

Yesterday I really needed to open a coconut (don’t ask, I just had a yearning!) and didn’t know how to. So after a bit of Googling I came across a clip on 5min video Life Videopedia. This short instructive video was clear and instructive and didn’t go too fast. Also it didn’t drag on and go too slowly which can sometimes be the case with instructive videos. I think keeping it to a 5min time limit is really useful. I More

Enigin Partner: Change for Good

How often has someone, a close friend you trust, said “you should really read that!” Do you ever get around to it? Count yourself as in the minority if you have your hand up now; while watching a video on the computer is an easy thing to do, most people are just too tired (or bitter) after a hard day’s work, and the last thing they want to do – in the case of quite a few people I know at least – is sit down and read.

Sadly, while books are still popular with many, reading is loosing out more and more to video. And it’s hardly surprising. Even though I read an awful lot I have to admit that watching a video is often preferable.

Then we have energy saving. It’s almost impossible to get people who don’t read much anyway to read about that. Thankfully, though, some people are putting out videos on this important topic, and one of them can be seen at the following link.

And we’re not talking some shoddily thrown together piece of A Level course-work either, we’re talking good production quality combined with a real message: in other words, education. It’s companies like Enigin who are reaching people who before hadn’t had the opportunity to view and absorb such information.

There is another reason why video is so effective when conveying these messages: the pictures stick in the mind, they are there whether the viewer wants to see them or not. On video, a drowning polar bear just isn’t something that can be ignored by many.

Just Our Opinion

There is a whole lot of crap online these days, and it is about time that we who run this site admit that it was us that put a whole lot of it out there. You see, we are a group of advertising, internet, marketing and branding gurus who through the years have contributed to this giant pile of useless information that we loosely brand as the internet.

So this is just a place for all of us to let our opinions be known. And that’s the point, it is just our opinion! Just because we say that some branding is terrible, or we wouldn’t go near a product with a ten foot barge pole, doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t either. That’s the point of the internet and all this information at our fingertips, so that everyone can make their own opinions.

That being said, here’s a whole lot of ours!
